Aid for Ukraine Thursday
The Old Church Hall in West Linton will again be open today, 10.30am till 7.00pm, for your aid donations for Ukraine. We’ll pause on opening a drop-off point after today and review how we can best help as we move into next week. For today, please note we’ll no longer be accepting donations of clothing. Still needing blankets, sleeping bags, camping mats, toiletries, ‘over-the-shelf’ medicines, first aid things - bandages, tourniquets, wound dressings etc, torches, batteries, candles, dried food, tinned food, thermoses etc, etc, etc Also, if anyone is heading to Peebles today, you’d be very welcome to pop a few bags/boxes of donations into your car and take them the the central Peebles collection point. Please call/text Ian on 07903616032. Andrew Macnab at Cavalry Transport in Peebles is confident that all your donations will be safely delivered to Poland early next week. Thank you again for your support Ian ???
With thanks ????????????

Local business, Cavalry Transport, is helping gather and box aid to be taken out to Poland this coming weekend for Ukrainian people fleeing from the horrendous events in their home country.
If you can, please label your bags with the items included (mens/women/children) and sizes. This will massively help any volunteers at the other end.
We’ll call on your numerous kind offers of help to get your donations taken down to the Cavalry depot in Peebles.
Will post details of West Linton drop-off points and times beyond today as the week goes on.
