Guizer present The Reivers’ Road Carlops Saturday March 15th

The Reiver’s Road
Singing duo  Guizer – Richard and Madelaine -revisit the Reiving Times.
Follow Lariston to Liddesdale! Raid with Ogilvie! Quail under the “Bishop’s Curse!” Shiver in haunted Smailholm! Scorn the gallows with Armstrong!
With scary tale, bloodthirsty ballads, verses, curses – and a “Dish of Spurs!” – come ride with us…

Our old friends Richard and Madelaine make a welcome return to Carlops with a stirring evening of song, rhyme and story about the Steel Bonnets. Come and be stirred and shaken! This is a fund-raising event and all proceeds are in aid of Maggie’s.

Tickets at £8 (or £5 for under 16s) can be reserved from Les Morss 01968 660388 or email lesmorss@carlops.net

Ricahrd and Madelaine have asked me to point out to parents of young children  that some of the material is a bit scary and uses some strong-ish Scots vernacular!  Be warned!
