Pentland Concerts: Kandinski Piano Trio

Alasdair Beatson, piano   Fenella Barton, violin    Alexei Sarkissov, cello
all highly sought-after soloists in their own right, play
Mozart piano trio in B flat, and Schubert piano trio in B flat – both late
works, and exceptionally beautiful. Also a “romantic and legendary”
piano trio by Anthony Payne which was commissioned by the Lake Piano Trio.
